Results are expressed as the mean ± SD of triplicate incubations of each sample and an asterisk (*) indicates those values significantly greater than the background activity in the DMSO blank at P < 0.05 as determined by the Students t-test. Results in this table demonstrate that no chemical significantly induced AHR-dependent reporter gene activity above background activity or antagonized induction by the reference standard, TCDD.
